Born and raised in Suffolk on a farm just outside Bury St Edmunds, Angie spent a happy childhood helping on the farm and listening to the old farming tales. The changing seasons of each farming year was a comforting backdrop to many happy hours spent exploring the countryside and learning to appreciate the local wildlife and nature.
All too soon it was time to leave for the very different world of university life in London to study for a degree in Economics. A passion for overseas development saw Angie return to study for a further degree in Agricultural Economics at Wye College; not quite farming but getting closer to her roots. Much of Angie’s spare time has been devoted to wildlife education, working with local groups to share her love of wildlife and nature with the next generation.
A big fan of ‘Time Team’, Angie has always enjoyed reading the landscape to discover more about local history – even persuading her father to allow a large hole to be dug in his front lawn looking for Roman pottery. None was found. Her interest in history, combined with a burning passion to write, has resulted in Angie’s first book, ‘Advent of Wolves’ – part one of the ‘Edmund’s Kingdom’ trilogy.
